I bought some Cometic 2 1/2 studs before this, and had to unscrew them a bit to get the mounting nuts fully threaded. I bought these which say three inch, but they seem to have more thread up top, and were so long I couldn't use my inch pound ratchet to properly torque them. They stuck up too far to get a socket over them. As long as you're careful with an open end wrench, you can get them tight enough without warping the carb body. Don't buy these unless you really need to clear a one inch spacer, etc. They're WAY too long to just mount a carb straight to the intake. Overall a good product if you need it though.
