Mission: Treasure Coast Food Bank (TCFB) was founded in 1989. It is the largest hunger-relief organization and the only Food Bank in our four-county region. Our mission is to alleviate hunger by obtaining and distributing food and other essentials in Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee Counties. The Food Bank provides 400 very active pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior housing, and low-income day-care centers with large quantities of food from name brand manufactures and USDA commodities on a daily basis. We also operate various mobile food pantries throughout our service area and assist pantries that provide backpacks to hundreds of children on the weekend. The backpacks are disbursed to qualifying children on Friday afternoon by various schools. (Less)

Treasure Coast Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1990, and donations are tax-deductible.
