I honestly first used this at a family members house and realized that my hair felt much better; softer, less dry, etc. Then I realized that a spot of psoriasis that flares up occasionally was not bothering me at all. Since I switched over to this as my regular shampoo, I have not needed dandruff shampoo, medicated shampoo, or conditioner -- although I may try the TRESemm conditioner. I highly recommend it.
