First off, these still taste great in the Lemon Cake flavor but don't expect it to have some miracle taste. Still tastes mostly like any other protein bar with artificial lemon cake flavoring (aka a ton of artificial sugar). Great for people who want to take a break from the classic peanut butter/chocolate/mint protein bars.

I love how this has a very chocolately taste! My only complain is towards the end of the bar it starts to taste more like that protein powder taste.

Was pleasantly surprised that the taste was really good. Other 'mint' protein bars have a taste that's almost chemical. This Is a winner for Pure Protein bars.

I have a major sugar addiction, so trying to lose weight has been a lifetime of yo-yoing.Now when I feel that sugar craving I found that these protein bars (especially the birthday cake flavor) will help with that.They have enough protein and calories to be a meal replacement in a pinch but are best, for me, as a in between meal or on the run snack.Only 3 grams of sugar, 5 grams of fat and 20 grams of protein, great for after the gym as well.
