Seems to be performing as expected.

It is way longer than it needs to be for a 2.5 receiver. I don't like that but it does work well.

I have used this pin and well tested it to limits, it has been used hauling under heavy loads of gravel, wood chips and logs. And arguably under greater rigour pulling a chipper in rocky and uneven terrain. I could not be happier with this products ability as a hitch pin. As for the locking mechanism, it is simple and effective, but only as a minor deterrent as it can not withstand force. Should you happen to loose the key, worry not my fellow adventure for a few basic hammer blows to the side of the locking head and it will easily sacome. Over all, it should stop most would be theif but a determined or learned rogue no more then a few moments.

Worked great for me I had it on my old truck but I didn't take care of it. I used it for about 3 years no problem but it eventually rusted out. Anyone who buys this or any lock that's going to be outside should oil it every few months.

Good design but I don't like the way it locks.

I have 2010 Toyota Tacoma prerunner 4 door long bed TRD sport V6, which has an extra piece of metal wrap around the hitch so the Trimax T3 will not fit, 2. 2/3 inch hitch span 1/8 inch too short. You need this one Trimax T5, Which has 3.5 inch span for hitch width, Now I put Black rubber garden hose washers, 3 on each side so it doesn't rattle and it's secure' s my US Marine Corps receiver plug, Improvise, adapt and overcome, failure is not an option.
