I never worry about the spare getting stolen any longer. This easy to use lock is perfect for the spare on our boat trailer. It is long enough to go around the frame.

Like:- Cable is thick, would take quite a while to cut and wrapped in vinyl to keep from scratching any other surface and isn't too long and not too short.- Lock is easy to remove and install using special key, which was provided- Options whether to thread locked end through lug nut hole or just wrap around and through wheel to secure lock.- Two keys provided, one to hide in the auto and the other to keep at home with the spare key.- Rubber cap covers the lock to maintain weather protectionDon't Like:- Just installed, no issues, only time will tell.

With the recent rash of spare tire thefts on Tacomas I added this lock in addition to the Toyota factory spare lock. Easy to install though I wish it was a bit shorter.

Nice heavy duty cable and locking mechanism. My spare tire was stolen the first time in 46 years now I have piece of mind. I would invest in this to avoid it from happening to you.
