Mission: Our mission is to ensure that every child residing at domestic and homeless shelters is honored by having their birthday celebrated.

Results: We have provided more than 115 Trina’s Birthday Boxes in 2021.Due to the persistence of Covid-19, and it's variants we had to scale down our operations. However, we are poised to expand our operations and provide more services beginning in mid 2022.

Target demographics: Children and families residing in domestic violence and homeless shelters.

Programs: Trina’s Birthday Box Initiative. Local outreach programs and centers we have connected with provide us with the first name, age, gender, and birth date of the child in need. Each child and family remain completely anonymous in this program. Trina’s Birthdays, Inc. , staff assembles a “Trina’s Birthday Box, ” which includes at minimal, a fresh cake, candles, party utensils, and an age-appropriate wrapped gift. A few days before the child’s birthday, the Director of the Outreach facility is advised that a Trina’s Birthday Box has been assembled and will be delivered on the child’s birthday. On the child’s birthday, a Trina’s Birthday Box is delivered to the director of the outreach facility and, in turn given to the child’s family.
