I remember the old Coleman lanterns that used propane and there was always the danger of fire or leakage. No more! This is a handy thing to have for camping and late evening picnics as well as around the house on stormy nights. The lantern arrived in time for a special camping trip with my sisters and I have also since used it in my home as an extra flash light.

Bought this after the last hurricane went through here. Did not lose power then, but decided this would be good to have for the next time. Beautiful bright light that lights up the whole room...I like things to be bright. Would recommend to anyone wanting or needing a good light for any darkness reason...camping, hurricanes, etc. Will gladly do business with this seller again as needed.

I was sceptical about buying this lantern. I had the older gas style colman lanterns, that are very bright. Well when it got dark at camp I turned the Coleman led lantern on. Wow it exceeded my expectations. I was very surprised how much light it let off. Very pleased with product and I will buy another.

Very bright . . . and the LED model doesn't consume batteries as fast as the earlier fluorescent model. This is a great product. We were without power in Naples, Florida for over a week after the Irma hurricane. I can easily vouch for this product.

My old Coleman fluorescent lantern finally died, so I needed a replacement. Wow, this thing is so bright, and never have to replace the bulbs anymore. Great idea putting a mirror underneath to reflect the light from above, and I love the dimming feature. Only drawback is 8 D batteries, which makes it a bit heavy. Next time we have a blackout, I'm good to go.

Nice and bright! I bought two and clocked about 30 hrs each on high setting at the last camping trip and still plenty of juice left , nice lantern

Not as bright as I thought it would be but great lantern. Don't have to worry about it falling and fire hazards. It's easy to carry and disable feature is great.

This has been a great lantern so far. Used quite often from Christmas thru July so far and still on original batteries. Highly recommend!
