This veggie mag is awesome I have a 500 gal saltwater aquarium with aggresive fish and this mag pass the test. Will recommend to friend's.

I've been using the cheap suction cup clips in my aquarium for quite a while. However, they only last about six months and then need to be replaced. On top of that you have to stick half your arm into the aquarium to stick it at the level my fish like it. I've had this one now for almost two months and I love it so far. The magnet works great! It is powerful enough that I don't even have to hold it against the glass to move it around. I love that it floats to the surface when released. I'm hoping it lasts a lot longer than the suction cup versions.

I'm a small older lady and I cannot use this product. The magnets are WAY overdone for the purpose of this product. It's only for holding lettuce for fish snails and the magnet is so strong I'm sure it could hold ME up. It's ridiculous and way, way too much. I had to use a hammer on the outside magnet to disengage it. Removing the thing made a huge mess inside outside of the tank and on me. I will not use it again. If you like magnets that are way too strong for their purpose then have at it. But if you're not young and in top physical shape consider something else. This product is going in my garbage. Waste of money.

Magnetic ability was great. I have it in my fish tank with my turtle and friends and it holds onto the veggies with no problem. Can easily be taken out without having to shove my entire arm into the tank. Just slide the magnet on its side and the inside magnet will follow.

I previously used a clip made with a suction cup. Needless to say the suction cup started loosing its grip and when my Tangs started pulling on the Nori it didn't hold. The magnet on this clip is very strong.

These clips are easy to use and the fish like using them. They are a little pricey for that they are but the last set lasted a good long time until the plastic in the back of the clip gave out and the magnet came loose. The new backing magnets on the outside are on the week side so I just swapped them out for the original set and everything is better. The company is well known and generally makes good stuff.
