I use it to lay out fences and its been a good tape reel so far. Ive used it in wet and muddy conditions and just wiped mud off with my fingers as I reeled it in. Its sturdy built. The main caveat is there IS a little bit of stretch in the tape if you pull on it too much, which will give false measurements. The plastic stake in the back has a plastic nub on the top that always you to snap the end of tape onto with has came in very handy when Im laying fence out by myself. All in all its a good buy and has held up to professional fencing work. I will buy more for sure.

Smooth wheel action, durable construction, easy to use. Does what i needed really well. If i had one point of feedback for ease-of-use, it would be the orange stake they provide for an anchor (which is really helpful to have) would be so much more convenient if it had a place to store it on the reel. There's no natural place to keep it when not in use and that would be a nice usability improvement.

Comes with an orange stake so you can measure distances by yourself. Rolls up when dusty, wet, or muddy without issue, and easy to clean. Cannot vouch for accuracy but readings are consistent, does not stretch.

I wanted an easy to use measuring tape for measuring my back yard, as well as other things. It works great. I really like the little peg that keeps the tape in place.

Bought this after I had a guy come over and use a similar measure tape to do my gutters. Its super long and was great for measuring out a 37' 6 deck plot. Now I will never have to measure out 26' several times to get a long distance measurement. The tape seems thick and durable.

Does exactly what it supposed to. That being said I wouldn't use it over really long distances for anything that needs to be precise. It gives and flexes to much for that just as any other none steel version is going to. So if you need exact get a steel tape.

I do data collection for residential property appraisals. This tape measure isn't perfect, but it works (mostly) well for what I need.The end of the tape could use a better claw but for the most part it works extremely well.The tape itself often gets bent sideways when retracting despite the roller guide in place to stop that. But it's easy to correct and doesn't seem to be permanently harming the tape.The ground stake has a small nub that sticks upwards. This makes it very painful to try and push it into the ground with your hands. I ground it off with a dremel...problem solved. Really?When this breaks, I'll likely buy another one to replace it.
