Kids had a fantastic time on a treasure hunt and loved finding the "buried" chest full of "jewels" and treasures that we had put in it. Fun time for everyone!

It's just like the picture, and it's a nice size....but I wouldn't buy this again for the price. To be clear, the lid literally just sits on top, there are no hinges or anything anchoring the lid to the bottom half. It comes in two pieces. For $30, I would appreciate some plastic hinges.

This was surprisingly larger than I expected. I bought rather small trinkets to fill this with (so I created a false bottom with cardboard to bring the items to the top). I just wish the top clasped or locked somehow; it just sits on top. It's sturdy and could probably be used for storing toys in a child's room.

It's perfect middle-sized tote that looks exactly like a pirate's chest because it's plastic we can leave it outside and I have to worry about the weather elements getting the toys it's perfect.

Purchased this to hold prizes for our school PTA. Its a nice size, but I would like to have the top and bottom connect in some way. I ended up securing with tape. Good for the price though.

I am using this in a classroom as a treasure box. I decorated it with all kinds of stuff (hot glued everything on it and its held perfectly) and the kids love it!.

I purchased this to use as a substitute teacher in my elementary classrooms. It is a big hit to be able to tell the kids, "this is my SPECIAL treasure chest for my classes that work really hard and help each other! At the end of the day, everyone gets to pick out a special prize from my treasure chest!" This reward incentive has been very helpful to me and to the students.<br /><br />This treasure chest is large; it is durable and made out of plastic. It fits a lot of "treasures" inside. You can turn the lid upside down and set it on top of the chest for easier storage.

duck tape the lid, so it can flip up and down. great item. strong plastic.
