We had purchased other ducks for our duck pond game and they floated on their sides most of the time. These worked perfectly! The only problem was a little label on the bottom but I used acetone to remove them and used sharpies to write numbers on the bottom of the ducks.

This set of yellow ducks is so much fun!We have a Reflection Pond off our patio. I thought it would be fun to have a bunch of yellow rubber duckies floating around in the pond for the Summer - they just make me smile. This set of ducks works perfectly for this!I wanted ducks that didn't have a hole in them, and that had a weighted bottom so they would float upright. This set does just that. The ducks are in full-sun all day long and have been in the water since early Spring. They have not faded in the sunlight, nor have they become brittle.Everyone who visits and notices the ducks, smiles at them. They are just the quirky fun thing I was looking for.Because the ducks float upright (and stay upright), they would work very well for Carnival parties where you catch the ducks in a tub. They would also be fun to have in a pool - just bobbing around while you and your guests swim. And of course, they would also be fun for kids to play with in a bathtub.I could also picture one or two of the ducks in a formal fountain in landscaping (just as something fun), or even in a water garden on a patio.Because the ducks don't have holes in the bottom or in the beaks, you don't have to worry about water getting inside them and rotting.I also like the shape and overall look of the ducks. They look like the traditional (standard?) yellow rubber ducky - versus some of the other weird-shaped yellow duckies I've seen.I'll pull the ducks out of the pond for the Winter, but they'll go right back out to the pond next Spring!I definitely recommend these ducks - so many fun ways to use them!

The ducks' weights inside to keep them level on the water had come loose in many of them.

I used these ducks as a prop for a book I'm writing. One of them was cracked and another kept tipping over, ( I guess water was getting into it.) They are hard as described but brittle and will crack under pressure (especially doggie teeth). They are not dog toys (Don't worry, my dog didn't get to sick her teeth into any of them. She got treats instead.) I only used them for this one photo. They are cheap enough, though, that you could buy a few bags to use for your event. Expect a few quacks to have to throw away, and move on with your day. I can't vouch for their longevity though, I only floated them for about 30 minutes to get pictures.
