One of the best timers I have ever had. My only complaint is that I wish this timer had a silent or quiet beep option. If it had volume options, it would absolutely be a five star timer.

I just purchased my third!!!I have been using this timer for over 20 years.I now have 3 of them in various locations in my house. My biggest fear when I bought the 2nd was that I would not be able to find it again. That was 8 years ago.And I was so relieved to find it yet again last week when I ordered 3.VERY WELL MADE!!It beeps for a full minute and then automatically begins to count forward, if it is not turned off.Uses ONE AAA battery that lasts practically forever.I use it in the kitchen, in the bathroom to be sure I am brushing long enough, and now in my workout room.It is a rare thing to find something of quality that has not been cheapened over time.

I had the previous version of this timer and a friend of mine took it, so I had to order the new version,

Es un temporizador de fcil lectura y de fcil manejo. Se ve bien construido y las teclas permiten programar fcilmente el tiempo hacia abajo, como cuando lo uso para cocinar. Lo recomiendo ampliamente

I bought a timer like this about 20 years ago. I've dropped it multiple times and it still works. Finally found this one that is identical to it - this one! It's counts up and down. Easy to use. Easy to read. Love this timer. So glad I found it.

I absolutely love this timer; I can use it to count down or up; which ever the occasion calls requires. I use it for timing agility runs during classes. It doesn't require a manual to figure out how to use it!!!The only drawback is it's awkward to hold because of the size (but I love the size). It needs some kind of strap in order to attach it to a clipboard. Minor drawback compared to all it's good points!Highly recommend this timer for someone who doesn't want or need all the bells or whistles of more complicated timers.

I have been searching for a kitchen timer with individual number buttons and a decent sized display for a long time. I had previously used a Polder timer, but found the buttons too small for my ham hands. This timer has all the things I wanted in a timer. The buttons on this one are large enough and spaced far enough apart so I don't get two at once. The display is large and the beep is sufficiently loud. When it reaches zero it begins to count up. It will also count up if you press "start" without entering a time. The magnet on the back seems strong enough. The belt clip, easel stand, and hanging eyelet are nice design touches. I also like the large start/stop and reset buttons. The only design quirk is the way the belt clip covers the battery cover. You have to hold the clip up while you fiddle with the cover, which is a bit of a pain if you have large fingers. Thankfully Mrs. Boilermate has small hands and is more coordinated. As another reviewer noted, the battery cover is flimsy and doesn't like to stay put. I'll probably end up taping it in place. No, it doesn't have an on-off switch, but these timers draw so little power it is unnecessary. I have used battery powered timers for years and found the timer usually dies before the battery wears out.

It is a simple timer, with a significant advantage for those always in a hurry. With most small timers, I tap a key for each minute: 20 taps for 20 minutes, 30 for 30 minutes, 50 taps for 50 minutes.Using this Ultrak, I set the time by tapping relevant digits: 3 and 5 = 35 seconds; 1, 3, and 2 zeroes = one and a half minutes; 2, and 4 zeroes = 2 hours.Nice!

For the price of this timer, you would expect it to have a on/off switch. It is made with low grade plastic and the battery cover is hard to remove and replace. You can get compatible timers for around 5 bucks.

I ordered this timer in order to keep track of the times I need to check my blood after eating. As a new diabetic this has been a real asset to me. Perfect for the job. Great service and very happy with this item.

This timer has great features and is easy to read. The drawback I have found is the cover for the battery compartment would not stay on. I subsequently lost it and now I use tape to keep the battery in place.

Very, very easy to use. Very simple operation. The alarm "is" loud. You can hook it on a belt, hang it from a cord, stick it up on anything metal. Only drawback - no "off" button. Also - the battery that came with the unit didn't work. A great little item for countdown and stopwatch. Oh - and it was delivered to the wrong house so if you can specify a secure shipper.
