I own an auto repair shop and a farm, so between customers cars at the shop and the many vehicles of my own I use this on a regular basis, so much so that I keep 1 at the shop on charge and 1 in my truck. Ive had a few different brands of jump boxes and I have/had 3 JNC 660's over the years. My experience has been nothing (in the same amp rating or price) does as good a job for as long as the JNC660. The unit that stays in my truck will sometimes be used 10-12 times without being charged and holds its charge very well. Other units I've had needed to recharged after every use. It is also a powerful unit, the rule of thumb for batteries is 1 CCA for every cubic inch of engine displacement so a 5.3 liter (327cu) gas engine would need a 350 cca battery under normal conditions. I have started diesel trucks and tractors in cold weather with this unit with no problems unless they were completely dead or had no battery in them. I typically get 3 usable years out of the JNC660, and they do include a coupon for a battery replacement, but the cost of mailing the unit back vs buying a new one on sale isnt worth it in my opinion. I have other units that have work lights and/or air compressors etc so if you desire that stuff this is not the tool for you, but if all you want is a good hard working jumpbox for a reasonable price this is it.
