I usually find games that incorporate film franchises to be cheesy, complicated, and overpriced. But the Harry Potter element actually added a very fun and dynamic mechanic to an already classic game. You actually have to play differently than standard Clue. I played this at a family event and liked it so well I bought it for a Harry Potter and Clue fanatic. The artwork is beautiful on the board and various cards. I wasn’t put off by the price of this game either. However, the only drawbacks are the pieces you move around the board. They’re just colored plastic and you tend to forget who your character is because of it. But I assume that if they were Harry Potter figurines, this game would be much more expensive so I’m not terribly bothered by it. Overall, I would recommend this game to a Clue or Harry Potter fan.
