This was a lot of fun -- takes some time to get used to how the rooms change - which doors are open and closed and which rooms you can hop to. There are also extra decks of magical cards, and it is taking some time to learn how to use them strategically. But overall, we are enjoying it.

This is actually the first Clue game I've ever owned or played. It was super fun (and I won the first game ;-)) and everyone enjoyed playing.

My daughter received this for Christmas and the entire family played it recently. Very fun and entertaining even if you aren't a big Harry Potter fan!

Think Clue meets Dungeons and Dragons. There are spells, potions, and moving passages...once you get the hang of the game it is fun.

This game was fantastic! It took the classic Clue game and added some fun twists that make it more interesting and more complicated. It takes a few minutes to figure out the rules but then you've got it. The Harry Potter elements they added were very fun and change how the game plays. This was an excellent game.

I bought this as a gift for my Granddaughter who loves Harry Potter. Apparently, it was a hit because she, her parents and her Aunt, spent the afternoon playing it.

Got this for my kids for Christmas - had a family game night on New Year's Eve - what a blast!!! Even better if you're a Harry Potter fan - but without a lot of knowledge of the characters still fun!!

I thought we were buying just a Harry Potter version of an already awesome game, but this goes way beyond a simple game of Clue. All the extras do give it a fun Harry Potter twist...unless you lose your house points and don't get to play the game anymore. I really can't understand games that do things like that. Give them a penalty or something, but don't make it so that they can't play and everyone else gets to keep playing without you. Not fun. So we changed that part. Otherwise, it is a lot of fun, just not what I was expecting. I think you could probably play a regular game of clue without all the additions if you wanted to. We haven't tried that.

Set up is a bit of a pain and the game is a little over-complicated from original Clue. Once you get set up, though, it's pretty fun. I'd give it more stars, but I do prefer a simpler game for family game night. Our 6 year old can't really play along with us. I know it's geared at ages 9 and I bought it for our 9 year old daughter, but it would be nice if there was a way to simplify for the younger kids.
