This game is absolutely faithful to the John Carpenter movie in every way, from the exact characters and names, to the detailed figures. Recommend watching the movie, then pulling this out and playing it.

It did meet my expectations and more. Played it a few times without even knowing a couple of mechanics and oh boy, when we rrad those, it only got better. Super difficult, very fun, set up takes 5min or less, if talking while setting it up, takes about 10min. Game wise can actually potentially take 15min but it always takes at least the minimum hour. 8 player games have lasted about 2 hours with talking and joking and discussing the current gameplay. I absolutely recommend this game to anyone who likes DnD, betrayer games, or just difficult games in the slightest. It is VERY faithful to the movie The Thing. If you know the movie you will most likely get excited while playing because of certain situations. This game deserves the 5 Stars for a reason, it is quite literally one of the best boardgames I've ever played.

This is to me the best interactive cooperation board game out so far. First off it really pays homage to the classic movie. You also feel like you playing out the film. Well thought out and well constructed. I've played it many times and had a great time playing it with my family and friends. If you are into interactive board games then I suggest you get this game! Awesome!

This is one of the best board games I have played, and it became instantly one of my all time favorite. If you love co-op strategy deception games and sci-fi, you will love this game. The rules might seem a little overwhelming at the beginning, but it is not too complicated to play. You will have a good time if you like these kind of games. Update: Forgot to mention; if you buy this, try to play with at least 6 people. Games with 4 players only are almost impossible for the humans to win. Games with 5 players are really difficult but not impossible. 6 or more is a good number for a good challenge on both sides.
