Mission: The mission of the Utah Parent Center (UPC or Center) is to help parents help their children, youth and young adults with all disabilities to live included, productive lives as members of the community. We accomplish our mission by providing accurate information, empathetic peer support, valuable training and effective advocacy based on the concept of parents helping parents.

Target demographics: Families impacted by disabilities and special health care needs

Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 25,000 individuals annually. Yet we know there are 151,000 individuals in Utah who could benefit from our services. The UPC has a critical need to increase our capacity.

Geographic areas served: Statewide

Programs: Information, resources, and training to individuals and families impacted by disabilities or special health care needs.
