Although I had a late model Yamaha engine with a tilt tube, the steering cable could not be used in the standard format because when extended it hit the rolled in gunnel. By using the UFLEX adapter it made the modern steering work perfectly. Very pleased.

Glad to receive it on the day the old one broke and earned a wild story to tell. However, the package arrived missing some mounting hardware - so only 4 stars. Almost gave 3 but the forged pieces feel good and the machined ball end screw was done well.
