It is a plastic basket for tennis ball. Good quality, easy to pick balls. I absolutely like it because the one I have is aluminum (very sturdy but heavy). You don't need a fancy stuff, this is good enough.

I teach tennis - and have gone through 3 wired hoppers in 2 yrs - they are so awkward in many ways: dig into shoulder when you carry them, the handles always slip out of their slots, the bolts magically unscrew themselves and I lose them on court, they collapse easily. I don't know why I didn't try this earlier, but I'm glad i have now - so much sturdier - it takes a little longer to set the legs up and close as you have to pull them out and over a ridge, but this is worth it as it is precisely this that makes it more stable. Am loving this! Nice and light too

This little guy is my favorite!!! I cannot tell you how much joy it brings after the struggle I had finding one that worked so well. I say little because it is a bit shorter than others...but has great capacity so don't let that fool you. In my search for a hopper to replace an old metal one, initially I skipped looking at this one. It was a gift and I just felt the plastic and design looked cheap. Sooo...after more time spent reading reviews than one person should spend...I went with the Wilson one since it seemed to be a good one and I liked the look...I was sooo wrong!!! I returned it after enduring more frustration than an inanimate object should be able tocause ( see that review for annoying details) and took a chance on this one after another round of the quest for the perfect hopper, since I could not find a reasonably priced nice metal version. Mission accomplished!!! This one is AWESOME!!! Sooo much lighter and sturdier than the metal ones (which is great if you have a long walk to the courts), picks up balls so smoothly quickly, beyond simple to stand, and no balls escape during travel. I cannot praise this design enough apologize for thinking it would not be good enough ;)). In fact the plastic has a nice benefit of being quiet where the metal versions clang during use. This blows the more expensive Wilson one out of the water! Get it!!! You will be soHappy you did :)... Happy hitting!

My wife and I started playing tennis and we found it super annoying to have to bend over and pick up the countless number of balls that would be littered after we ran through our batch. We were pretty bad, too, so we'd empty out our old duffel bag pretty quickly. This Ballport made picking up the balls so much easier and faster. Of course, as we played more we started to get better and we'd take longer to get through the balls but still, this Ballport is super useful and we bring it with us everytime we play.

The instructions are confusing. If you use logic to assemble stuff, apply it here. Some reviews claim its not sturdy. I'm picky, the product is fine. I added 63 balls and it could hold a few more. I'm satisfied with product.

The unit is very easy to assemble but a pain to use. The rods for carrying and supporting the unit don't secure well and the balls will spill out.Bottom line - get a better ball carrier

My 12 year old put this together. It is a little heavy when full of balls so you will want to install the wheels. Great price for the product.

I've used this for appox. 100 practices and it's held up well. It's much lighter than similar metal baskets, so it's easier to carry to/from the car and around the court. The rotating bars on the bottom work well for picking up balls. The locking bars have held balls in place even when the basket is tipped over in the trunk. The only drawback is the skinny handles, which means it's not the most comfortable feeling when carrying on your shoulder.

Cool product. We are teaching our daughter to play tennis. The way you can just set this on top of the balls on the ground and go through into the hopper is great then you can flip the hopper around to use it as a basket to serve.

I have both this hopper and the Wilson 75 ball hopper, this one doesn't look like it but it's actually better in every way. More durable, less likely to rip up your legs or car interior, easier to transition to the standing position... it's just all around better. Get this one instead or be disappointed

Easy to use, and picks up balls perfectly. Two replacement rods were included, and I haven't had to use them yet, and I've been using this for three years now. I have had to replace the screws that hold the plastic parts together, as the plastic wears out over time and use. Drilling holes through, and using screws with nuts solved the problem.
