Mission: UWCNM's mission is to bring people and resources together to measurably improve lives and strengthen our communities. To work toward achieving this mission, we have conducted extensive research and identified the most pressing needs in our community.

With the help of community collaboration from many different sectors, we have developed specific programs to address these needs. We have begun to move to a more focused approach, to create a stronger impact in Family Stability and Education, while still funding Basic Needs.

UWCNM works to inspire donors and businesses to invest in our community and partner with nonprofits to mobilize resources and channel them where they are most needed.

United Way of Central New Mexico is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1980, and donations are tax-deductible.
