Mission: Since 1924, United Way of Northeast Florida has been the leading organization on the First Coast improving the lives of one of every three Northeast Florida citizens. United Way works to unite people and resources in building a stronger and healthier community. After intensive study to uncover the root causes of social ills, United Way found that the following three focus issues offer the best means for doing the most good for the greatest number of people: preparing preschool children for school; helping students at risk for dropping out of high school; and keeping seniors engaged and independent in their community. (Less)

United Way of Northeast Florida is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1941, and donations are tax-deductible.
