Repainted several PLASTIC trim parts on my 2009 Grand Caravan. Read about this Adhesion Promoter and, because I plan to keep the minivan for several more years [I plan on getting all my money out of the Chrysler 'Lifetime Warranty' - waiting for the transmission to fall out, they'll pay for it!] thought it would prolong the re-painting of the plastic parts. Additional research pointed to, what appeared to be, an illogical process. That is; DO NOT wait more than 10 minutes after application to Spray Paint the parts! It appears that this stuff slightly softens the plastic surface allowing the paint to BOND with the plastic, not just coat it!Every article stressed PRE-Cleaning all the parts THOROUGHLY! I removed them from the car, sprayed them with 'Krud Cutter' and Pressure washed them completely. I then scrubbed them totally with 90 isoprophal alcohol to get off any wax, coatings and/or sticky residue.I sprayed on the Adhesion Promoter, waited about 6-8 minutes and painted. WOW, the paint went on GREAT! For 12 year old parts, they look NEW!!!

Used it on a couple of custom truck light projects. Easy to spray and can be recoated quite quickly. I used Rust-Oleum high heat flat black as a top coat and it turned out perfect. Would recommend and will definitely buy again.

I am disabled and have hinged unloader leg braces made of a very thick, sturdy plastic that I can't usually get spray paint to stick to (have had trouble determining the type of plastic but it was custom-molded for me by the OT if that's a hint). This actually worked!

With this and the vinyl paint the inside of my semi was transformed

Used this to spray plastic truck exterior body parts before I rolled them with another product. Seemed to help the paint stick to the plastic. Few months in the sun and rain and zero issues. Highly recommended.

I used this to prep model train delrin plastic handrails. I have yet to have any of the paint flake or chip off. It has been overcoats with a variety of model paint product lines with good success.

Just make sure you protect with a dropcloth, I killed the grass pretty well under my project.Bosco denies doing this to the front yard!!(Guess it's time for some new sod before my wife goes ballistic.)
