Preparation is key! Works best on chrome or polished metals.Degreased my calipers, hit em with a wire brush, and finally polished them with a ryobi electric drill attachment. You have to do really light coats to get the desired effect. This is not thick like traditional spray paints. It's translucent or similar to a watercolor. Less is truly more.Might be over explaining but you want the chrome or shiny metal to show through the paint thus giving you that metalic or anodized look. First 2 pics taken at sundown. 3rd pic flash was used. Can't wait to see them in the sun.

Buyer beware!!! Product arrived half full and had been used. Looks like someone used it, cleaned the nozzle, and returned it. Paint is higher than in-store prices as it is which would've been fine as it is a great color and paint but I am so disappointed that it's half gone. I can not locate where to return it in the orders section or I would get a refund!

I used it on plastic with a metallic silver base for a metallic look on plastic. The rim and center are this product and I love the result.

I 3D printed this ironman helmet (12 pieces, 8-11hrs ea, gray pla) and this was THE PERFECT red. Don't be like me and forget to thoroughly read the description, the color is opaque, you HAVE to use the silver base coat. For metal, you need DPL 100007, for plastic or anything other than metal including painted surfaces you need DPL MC100 (which is what i used). I followed the instructions and it came out PERFECT!! It looks like real metal!

I did not like this product because it is not Anodized at all with headache processing to make do anything with out more money spend instead just be clear about there product waste money don't purchase this worse of duplicolor items.

Turned out great! A couple of things to keep in mind is that it is intended to go on chrome-like appearance things and needs the metal cast base if not. If not, it won't look near as good. It is also important to be patient and do lots of little coats, it will run if not. I just did this yesterday so I can't comment on durability.

The paint is difficult to uniformly cover the surface. It takes a certain base coat if you're not painting directly to polished metal. It took a few coats before I was content.

I haven't used it yet but the color of this orange is beautiful I cant wait to paint my accessories with it and my brake calipers on the front and my brake drum on the back!

I sprayed my lugnut dust caps that faded over summer to a pink color. This paint goes on very nice easy and it looks great. Directions say 2 light coats and then a medium coat. I layed that last coat on a bit heavy to really get the red to pop and would recommend doing the same if the color seems a little light. But my little dust caps look brand new now and I'm excited to see what else I can use this paint on.

Not happy with the color. Does NOT match the cap whatsoever. It is more magenta than purple. Nice pearl tone finish, but the color is all wrong. I had to paint over it. :(

The worst pain I've ever used it's not even close to being the color on the cab bleeds horribly doesn't adhere well just a very terrible paint

I used this to refinish a blued metal cap on a Mannlicher rifle stock. I sprayed with Black Duplicolor Gloss Lacquer and then top-coated with this Blue to match the rest of the blued metal. Looks much nicer than cold bluing solutions.

When I first got it I was anxious to test it out and since I bought the ground coat as well I decided to paint a small wooden box and although it looked decent, it was nothing compared to the way it looks on the rotors and even though they are not chrome I did not use the ground coat!!!! See the pics and you be the judge
