VHT Professional Undercoat, VHT/ Duplicolor UC102

Wish I ordered 2 cans as the first went very fast

Apparently these reviews lump together different grades of Duplicolor undercoating. My review is for the Professional version. I used this product on the rear wheel wells of the 1975 K5 Blazer that I'm restoring. It was applied at about 80 degrees and probably 30 humidity (Indiana summer). After shaking the can vigorously for several minutes, I started spraying about 8-10 from the surface. It comes out of the nozzle in a very consistent fan with very little mist or over spray. It lays down in a uniform textured matte finish that almost looks dry, but isn't. My test sample was dry to the touch in about an hour, and the appearance stayed virtually the same as when it was sprayed.It looks about as close as you could get to professionally applied undercoating, though not as thick and rubbery as what was originally on my Blazer from the factory. I don't think anything from a can is going to match what comes out of a professional undercoating gun, so your expectations should reflect that.I also had four cans of Rust-Oleum undercoating that I used in less visible areas and those were sprayed at the same time. The Duplicolor Professional Undercoating had a vastly better texture and appearance than the Rust-Oleum stuff. If you're spraying it in conspicuous areas and appearance is important, this is the stuff you want.

GREAT RUST PREVENITIVE

First off the cap was black which generally means the color is black.It's. brown,looks horrible.I removed the bumpers off my can am outlander to freshen up.Now I will have to wait until it dries,which it doesn't do after several hours,going to be a real mess,and work to re-do!Save yourself the hassle and buy flex seal.
