I used this high temp paint as a theft deterrent on three catalytic converters I have. It sprayed easily while being held at almost any angle (handy when reaching under a vehicle). I would purchase this paint again.

Very very chalky finish and color was not red but more orange like GM engine paint or Case power red aka almost like the general lee.

I've been using this paint for years, directly on piston domes, combustion chambers, exhaust valves, and exhaust hedders. When cured correctly, it will not burn off.

thin texture and runny. will take more coats than on directions. time will tell how durable. using on catalytic converter to deter theft

I used this to color a catalytic convertor to deter theft and so far the paint is sticking to the heat shield attached to the converter.

The orange color slowly fades to a muted yellowish at the last step of curing procedure (run under normal operating conditions for 30'). The hotest part fades the worst!

Great cheap way to deter catalytic converter theft. Makes a stolen catalytic converter easily identifiable and likely difficult to sell to a salvage yard.

Use it all in one sitting or the spray starts to dry inside the can making it unusable. I forgot this rule and it hit me again. If you use it in one sitting, it is a great product.

Ruined a $250 exhaust. How do you claim fire proof yet turns black and burns at 550 degrees in the oven to cure it????Literal garbage.....you want to ruin your expensive parts then have at it.

I wasn't sure what to expect since there weren't a lot of pictures when I bought this. However the aluminum color is slightly lighter than shown and has a light blue tint it seems
