For a rattle can, one component, paint this Duplicolor Wheel Paint in silver is remarkably chip resistant. The paint can be pressure washed regularly without coming loose. If you want a high gloss finish this is not your paint. The finish, however, is a good working finish which matches the original on many cars.

This seems to be nice paint. I purchased this paint to refinish 4, 20 wheels on my Venza. Two cans were more than enough to do the 2 light coats and one medium coat as stated in the directions. I messed up one wheel and had to re-paint it, so I was even able to get a 5th done with the 2 cans.The color is silver, but is not as shiny as I had hoped. However, it does look solid and deep -- just like a brand new car.What I liked most is how well it sprayed. It was nice and even and the paint covered well.I finished with Dupli-Color HWP103 Clear High Performance Wheel Paint - 12 Oz. Again, 2 cans allowed me to finish all four wheels with 2 light, a medium and a heavy final coat.I'm happy with this paint. I normally use Rustoleum, but for wheels, I think this is a better choice.

I've had good results with this wheel paint but to make it last, you must sand and clean the wheel to remove excess dirt and corrosion and damaged paint- the prep work is the key! I used 2 cans for 2 coats on 4 Honda aluminum wheels.
