I'm installing a concealed duct mini split unit in a bus and needed vents that were more rv style vs residential register style. They do give a bit of flimsy impression at first, but actuality do the job as vents

It was exactly what I wanted but check the size of the coiled heat pipe behind it to be sure it fits the new vent cover. We adjusted it to make it fit so saved the day.

My other one wasn’t deep enough these are great that way, but the plastic vent cover itself keeps falling off just gonna put a little piece of bile tape up there to keep it on. The levers to adjust the vent are quite flimsy and they fall off as well

5th wheel upper bedroom tend to overheat by a lot. This let's you cut the airflow down.

Upon ripping out a bathroom vanity we found a massive ducting hole that was just being covered by a vanity. What a surprise! We minimized the hole opening to a smaller size and I needed to find a vent that served its purpose but wasn’t ugly! This fit the bill and didn’t cost too much!

I just bought a new toy hauler and the bedroom was getting SUPER HOT while the rest of the rig was warming up. I installed this and on the first night closed it completely and it worked perfectly. We were able to sleep comfortably in the room and the rest of the trailer was the same temperature.

My RV has significantly different lengths of heating ductwork. This results in radically greater air flow between the registers close to the furnace from those much farther away. Our furnace was in our bedroom which would quickly overheat while the kitchen at the other end of our trailer would be easily 20 degrees lower. Replacing our bedroom register with one of these made a huge difference in reducing airflow into the bedroom and increasing airflow in the kitchen. Now no more than about a 5 degree temperature difference between the rooms.Overall, these registers do the job. I only give them four stars overall for two reasons. They are a bit noisy when the lovers are fully closed (which still lets some air through), and the design of the louver levers that protrude from the front earns zero stars. With our registers close to the floor the levers are frequently getting bumped and opening back up. Horrible lever design.

Easy to install. I modified mine for a custom project and were easy to cut with a dremel on low speed. The louvers don't seal the hole completely though so some air will leak by.
