They are what they are for mine is to replace somewhere ones that I felt served no real purpose it's plastic and not well made but they are styrdy enough for air flow...real cost was maybe close to 15 I got them at about 3 each...

This item is not 5” id.Valterra pkg even has printed 5-1/2” id.Product is fine, but needed 5” for vents, so I had to modify hole.

Direct replacement for the units in my motor coach. Only issue is that the color I selected (Medium White) is MUCH brighter than the existing units. The other choices (bright white and beige) did not seem to be likely matches. Beige, if it were a true beige, would be way too dark. I kept the one I bought and just exchanges it for one other in a vary hard to see area. Just be cautious about your color choices.

I know many others are stating the size is wrong but they appear to be measuring the collar. We don't need the collar because one is already installed, the louvered piece was direct replacement.Only thing little disappointed on is the color. I ordered medium and it looks like white. Not sure if they sent the wrong one or if I guessed wrong. Just changed out in bathroom where you don't know the difference.

Valterra make good RV products, so I have no doubt a correctly sized unit would have worked fine. I ordered the wrong size and missed the return date.The units supplied with RV's typically have no control of the AC flow, these units allow the flow to be balanced throughout the RV.

This is nice in the RV bathroom when you want to close it before getting out of a hot shower. It will cause some condensation on the ceiling, so you do it need to open it soon after getting out of the shower, but it is easy to operate. Feels sturdy enough for lightweight use. Fits standard sized vent openings in RVs. Matched the existing holes in the ceiling.
