This handle is a very nice metal upgrade from the original plastic handle that broke after 6 years. The only downside is that it's not available in grey or black to match the tanks, so I'll have to paint them if I want that feature back.

Bought these after the stock plastic handles broke. Installation was quick and easy. A perfect fit and much more rugged and sturdy than the stock ones. A must for any camper.

Hopefully I won't ever replace this again. As RV'ers know, all things plastic get brittle with UV exposure. I assume that's why these handles eventually give out. I'm thinking this metal replacement will last longer than this trailer. Easy screw on threads. Took less than 5 minutes.

It took about 5 minutes to remove the broken handle and replace it with the new Valterra handle. I hope is is stronger than the plastic one which the slide fender rubbed closing and broke it.

Not sure why this isn't an original part on all rvs. With the help of some vice grips, and a leather glove so I didn't damage the valve rod, this was a relatively easy fix to a broken plastic handle. I added a drop fo blue loctite just to be sure the new one doesn't back off.

I bought 2 of these handles to replace the broken plastic ones on my RV dump valves. I painted one black for my black tank and left the other silver for the grey tank. These feel much sturdier and should last forever.

I like that it is solid metal. I do wish it was smooth on the back side as it digs into my hand when trying to pull it open. That's what they make glove for I guess. I am happy it won't break tho.

I used them on my pool filter gate valves. The standard plastic ones just didn't last these are good so far
