Switched to this product instead of the blue liquid from chain marine supply store. Works perfect no stains from blue dyed. It's a white powder with a scoop.

I have used this for the past few years on our 39' trawler (motorboat) in a 40Gallon black water tank. The tank is fitted with a good vent that is needed in order for this material to work properly. Using Odorlos has prevented the dreaded passed gas stink outside of the boat when the head (toilet) is flushed by someone below.Definitely recommend this material. Watch the product video to understand how it works. I put 2 scoops in the head and flush it with plenty of clean water after it dissolves (takes about 5 minutes) to treat the 40 gallon black water tank. I add new Odorlos every time we pumpout the tank so that material is available to treat the new contents. One 6Lb bucket lasts an entire summer of boating but extended travel on board may require two to get through a long season of travel.

Works well in liquid or granular form. Controls odor in RV well. Best one I found yet.

Never thought Id write a review on RV holding tank treatment but Odorlos is fantastic.Weve tried so many over the years and some are better than others but none have totally controlled odor AND dissolved solids in the tank.Our tank sensors are working for the first time since we purchased the RV and there were no visible solids or tissue when dumping the tank ( we have a clear elbow fitting which allows us to see when flushing tank with water). There is little to no odor when dumping tank and that is amazing in itself!Follow instructions- dont use more than the recommended amount for your tank as its not necessary!youll be pleased with the results!

This came recommended to me by a fellow VERY experienced sailor. As far as I can tell, this is among the best of the products for a recreational boater. Works very well for me. My wife sleeps 6 inches above the holding tank system on my sailboat and she has never smelled a thing or complained. Plus, our system is often quite filled with poo when we go on long trips. I have bought this product over and over again the last 6 years and will continue to do so.

It just makes sense to use the product from the valve manufacturer. Other products seemed to dry out the valve seals but this one has kept them sliding smoothly.

Great product, especially if the other overwhelming 'blue' chemicals are too much. This has almost no chemical odor and it really keeps the black and gray tanks free of any smell. Strange but true.

I mix one scoop and a gallon of hot water pour it down the toilet and when the black tank gets full there's literally 0 smell I wish I knew about this sooner instead of wasting my money on all those little orange pods and all the other junk they're trying to sell you.. this is all you need don't buy anything else

Odorlos is our favorite holding tank treatment. For our 20 gallon holding tanks we just add an ounce or two with a gallon of fresh water after each pump out and it works fantastic. No smell in our 23 year old tanks.

I haven't actually tried this yet, but I think it will work very well. I was very pleased that it had a measurement portion on the bottle to make it easier to use and measure out for my RV.

The 64 oz. bottle of Odorlos is easy to use and easy to store in the RV. One nice thing about it is there is NO odor, it is odorless.I didn't rate the softness as I'm not sure what that means, it's a liquid tank treatment.I've used this product for years. We live in a rural area, and I have the RV set up for a guest house when we are not traveling. Our property is on a septic system for wastewater, and one needs to use some caution about what goes down the drain. Odorless is septic tank safe, many of the RV tank products are not.

My husband and I are living in our RV as we remodel our house. The product we were using simply could not keep the RV fresh smelling under our new living conditions. This product took care of any lingering odors! We poured some into our sinks, shower and toilet. What a difference. Thank you!

This is a great product. I realized that I was tired of the orange scented holding tank chemicals. I don't really want an orange scent to mask the smells, if you know what I mean! This product eliminates ALL odor, even in extreme heat. Very pleased.

I've used lots of holding tank treatments over 60 years, and all but this one just attempt to control smells. This one is a digester, so the smell issue doesn't ever come up. Works way better than anything else that I've ever used.

Used for a porta potty. Works great. No smell.
