This is now my standard oil for my 2014 CRV. Has reduced, but not totally eliminated, oil consumption (not a leak) I experienced using Mobil1 Advanced or Extended, or other synthetic 0W20 motor oils I've tried in the past. My purchased new CRV has over 145,000 miles, amp; to be honest my oil change intervals were too far apart in earlier years. It wasn't taken care of well enough then, trying to reduce wear and extend vehicle life now as long as possible. MPG is not as good as with Mobil1, but 2 years (4 oil changes) of oil change analysis from BlackStone Labs shows sub 5PPM metal(s) per 1,000 miles, which is considered a good level of engine wear for a vehicle after break-in. I'm changing this oil every 6 months, and approximately 6,000 miles. Oil change analysis shows I could go longer, but I don't want to. Low cost quality motor oil I can affordably change every 6 months, along with a Mobil 1 M1-110A Extended Performance Oil Filter. Oil analysis shows this is a good combination on a car that wasn't given enough love earlier on in it's life. This review is specifically for Valvoline Extended Protection Max Life 0W-20 Full Synthetic Oil.
