You really can't go wrong with any name brand synthetic oil these days but Valvoline extended protection has a very nice additive package especially for the price. Be sure to check Valvoline's website for rebates!

Been using Valvoline ever since on my 2017 lancer and no problems with my engine. I do 5000mi change oil interval. With the new GF-6A oil it's a game changer. This is the fully synthetic option so may cost more than just the regular synthetic but totally worth it.

My 2012 Mazda 3 skyactiv uses 0w20 oil. These never fail. Works as they should. Close to water consistency and great for cold weather operation. Highly recommended.

All I can say is.... after 10k the car works just as good as it did before... Does it help extend life... sure... does it provide a mericle??? I doubt it but good stuff that just works.

2021 Toyota Tundra with 22k miles. Was changing oil at the dealer because it was free for two years. Since that's now over I decided to do my own oil changes. Went with Valvoline extended performance because it was on sale for $28/5qts and it's a reputable company. Engine is much smoother and quieter with this oil than whatever Toyota bulk oil was doing. So far I'm very pleased with how this oil seems to be performing .

For some reason, 0w20 doesn't fit my 2015 gmc yukon xl denali, according to this seller. However, it literally says that is the oil weight for my yukon on the engine. Might want to look into it.
