It will go down a full size after washing. Bought a couple of them in size large and they were great then it happened.. I washed them and they shrunk up and in. They are just a cheap version of a Ralph Lauren polo, so in the donation bin they go. So just get them a size up. But I won't get them size or not, just jaded on the whole thing...

Ordered red in medium. Normally only get Ralph Lauren polo shirts for my son, because I prefer the fit and quality. Needed a red one, didn't want to spend $30 for a one time wear. Pleasantly surprised by quality, fit, and price. Would definitely buy again. Highly recommend.

The shirt is long enough but not too wide. It's actually a really good fit. The material is thick but comfortable in cooler weather.

And I was not in the pool...XL fit great upon arrival, but after a couple of washes (cold) and machine drying ( medium low), has shrunk vertically by 1-2 inches. Unless you are rail thin, the effect is Baby Huey in a polo.Also there is nothing wrinkle-free about them, this is 100 cotton without any wrinke-free treatment.

The fit is perfect. The price was great. And the quality is very good. They are real cotton. These shirts look real nice. I bought them I'm several colors. I am very pleased with my purchase! I will definitely buy more when I end up wearing these out or stain them; it happens. I am glad they are not too expensive and very happy they are real cotton. I am 6ft tall with medium to large build, and weigh 190 pounds or - 10 pounds, depending on my diet and exercise. They fit perfectly.

Bought this for my husband. He liked it so much I bought another. He has a belly and this lays nicely without looking like a dress while fitting great through the shoulders and chest.. It's his favorite shirt.
