Mission: The mission of the Verde Valley Archaeology Center is to preserve archaeological sites and collections in the Sedona and Verde Valley region of Central Arizona, and to promote their educational, scientific and cultural use We also preserve the history of the Native Americans who made this area their home for thousands of years. .

Results: Since our establishment in October 2010 we have increased our membership to over 500, mostly couples. We now have new interactive exhibits and a research laboratory. In May 2011 and are working toward moving to a new building on donated land for expanded research, keeping items in the Verde Valley, and new displays as well as classes with both youth and adults.
