I used eight of these in strategic locations under a 28 foot 5th wheel RV that was moving up and down with each step anyone took inside. They're not made to jack but to stabilize, so when leveling the trailer, be sure to use a hydraulic jack and then put this unit in place snugly and then lower the hydraulic jack. Use a level on the floor to verify your front and back and side to side level readings. Walah! No more bouncy floor.

Before our new heavy duty refrigerator was delivered, my husband used these to give added strength under the house where the refrigerator was going to be installed.

The build quality seems fantastic, seems stout, I feel like it'll take anything I'll ever throw at it. It moved up and down slow, but I expected that.

Love the fact that my floor does not bend or flex now. Our enclosed porch is solid now. We are very pleased.

This is an awesome product adding a better quality bolt and butt would definitely make a way better unit. Don't add to the price.

Very heavy duty, had to add extra support under a floor for 3 ton (6,000Lbs( of wood pellets. I bought 3 of these to use along with some extra support bracing. They work good!!! Only down fall is i had to buy some rebar to finish the job because the bars that came with bend very easy. No bad things to say about em.

I am 100 satisfied with this product. I bought two of them to help support a building that I was re-leveling. I'd lift the building with a different jack and then use these screw jacks like a jack stand for a car so if my jack slips, this product will catch the building from crushing me. I will be keeping these jacks around, as they did an awesome job for me.

Most of the jack posts I've seen have very thin metal base and top plates. These posts have thick metal plates and are very solid. I'm in the process of rebuilding a rotted porch and using one to support a beam. I have no doubt it'll last many years.

We have a small, old rental house with sagging / uneven floors, a small horizontal crack on the center floor beam from an earthquake, and shifted sill plate. Bought 8 of these screw jacks to support the droopy areas and lift others areas so we could insert reinforcing beams and attach plates to secure things. Some of these will be left in place permanently, others were moved around as needed. They are easy to use, the top plate pivots a little bit which helps account for slight uneven surfaces (like gravel beneath); there are holes to secure the top and bottom of the screw jack to the beams if desired. We had no problem with the bar used to turn the screw - I would say if yours bends, you are trying to lift more than these are designed for. Ours is a small house (1 story, 900 SF) and we could noticeably lift the house 1/4 (it changed door alignment). The floors feel much less bouncy now, and I feel better knowing there is additional support.
