It did what I paid for. Good quality. Lubricate the threads and connections at the base and sill plate so that it turns nicely - if not, they will turn and it'll be a pain.

Would have been better if I got the ones I ordered, but these worked just took longer than would have if I would have gotten the correct ones. Was in a time crunch and could not return had to use what I had

It's all welded construction makes it easy to move around and adjust. The top plate is swaged on and rotates to adjust. It's made from 1/4 inch steel plate. I've used other jack stands but this is the type I'll always use from now on. I drug 4 of these through the dirt under a house and they still operated easily. This is not a lifting jack. The turn bar is for adjusting, not turning to lift. It can bend if you push hard enough. You need to jack up the beams first and use this to support the weight. You get what you pay for. Well worth the money.

Mine's the 12” version. It's a stout little guy perfect for raising the side of my porch enough so I could replace a post.I saw some reviews that said the turn-rod wasn't up to the task and had bent on them. Maybe their load was way heavier than mine but I had no problem. It takes effort of course to lift part of a structure but slow turning didn't feel like it came close to bending the rod. Only needed to raise the beam an eighth inch or so to get the old post out, and that's what these things are made forlifting a big weight a short distance.Very pleased with the quality and glad I selected this one.

These jacks worked great to stabilize my floors. Very heavy duty. I installed them in my crawl space under my washer dryer and my utility room. I noticed a big difference.

I am using these to permanently fix my movement in the floor of my 60yr old house. They are working great! Sometimes you also need a hydraulic jack to raise a beam that is supporting a lot of weight. Other times you can put 2 close together and work off of each.
