Mission: The mission of the all-volunteer Veterans Transition Support nonprofit is to close the gap between military service and civilian life by removing the current barriers to employment for homeless veterans, unemployed veterans and transitioning military service members through job training, one-on-one job search mentoring, and sponsorship of employment related resources to sustain the jobs they land.

Results: The current Veterans Transition Support activity includes providing no cost resume writing, job training, job search assistance, professional credentials, networking to veteran friendly corporations, and sponsorship of free work clothes, gas cards, and bus passes to help veterans sustain the jobs they land. 100% of the 436 Veterans Transition Support clients who asked for 1 on 1 employment assistance have landed jobs worth $19,675,700 in first year salaries. 4754 veterans were provided with OSHA 10 Hour Safety Training and 793 veterans were provided with OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training since 2014.2094 veterans were provided LEAN Continuous Improvement Training at no cost to the veteran since 2014.2176 veterans attended the “Preparing to File a VA Disability Claim” course at no cost to the veteran since 2015.884 veterans attended the "VA Home Loan Benefit" course at no cost to the veteran since 2016.282 veterans were provided with "10 Day Logistics & Supply Chain" Courses since 2017.110 veterans received $9500 in gas/food card support since 2016.1115 veterans completed 875 no cost certificate courses online since 2019.
