This gentle, scientifically formulated shampoo was developed by a veterinarian to give your pet healthy skin and a lustrous hair coat. Sensitive skin needs natural moisturizing ingredients. A special combination of these ingredients rejuvenates and protects normal skin and soothes dry, brittle coats and rough, flaky, oily, sore or irritated skin. This formula also helps relieve itching caused by allergies and other skin problems. Great for pets with dry or sensitive skin--perfect for puppies and kittens. Keeps normal hair coat soft, healthy and shiny.
Will not reduce effectiveness of Advantage.
Directions: Wet coat. Dilute one oz. (six capfuls) of the gentle, low-lather Hypoallergenic Shampoo in one cup of water, then pour mixture evenly over the wet coat. Avoid contact with eyes. Lather and massage coat for five minutes. Rinse well until your pets hair coat is squeaky clean. Repeat if necessary and bathe as often as needed for relief of itching and other skin problems. Then, for best results and a glistening hair coat, use Veterinarians Best Moisture Mist, Hot Spot Spray and Vita-Derm Nutritional Supplement.
Ingredients: Aloe Vera, Allantoin, Panthenol, Vitamin E.

My dog doesn't have allergies, but I do, and finding a shampoo that I can wash her with that won't give me a rash is difficult. But the ingredients in this shampoo are simple and don't have coconut which is horrible for me. So now it is much easier for me to keep my dog clean.

I've been happy with Vet's Best Hypo-Allergenic Shampoo for Dogs from the moment I started using it! Not only is it gentle on my dog's skin, but the natural ingredients give me peace of mind knowing that I'm not exposing my furry friend to any harsh chemicals. As someone with a dog who has sensitive skin, finding a shampoo that is suitable for their needs is a top priority, and this product delivers. The only thing I wish is that the scent lasted a bit longer, but that's a small price to pay for such an amazing shampoo. I highly recommend Vet's Best Hypo-Allergenic Shampoo for Dogs to all dog owners out there.

Company will disclose only what is contains. There is no list of ingredients, nor will they tell me per email from Compana Pet Brands. They did say that it's made in the same facility as other products that contain Oatmeal and Rosemary, which my dog is allergic to.Edit: I just gave my dog a bath. Apparently his old shampoo, which contains coconut oil, is an allergen to him as well as oatmeal and rosemary, because he stopped itching immediately after the bath with this shampoo. Will definitely buy again, as it took 14 months to figure out what was making him itch, it was the old shampoo.

My doberman always got dry irritated skin in part because of her short fur. she still loves to play in the mud though. This shampoo got her clean but is super gentle. I got the conditioner too and she scratches less and her coat looks shiny.
