They were uniform in size and bend. They are metal hooks, not plastic. There were no jagged areas and the paint was uniform. They are very rustic looking. I altered one by cutting the tip of the hook off - the metal is not black inside. I filed and painted the part that I exposed and it looks fine.

Agreed that the screws shouldn't be flathead ones, they were a pain. They look nice and were the only hooks I could find to fit my specific needs, though, so good enough!

I love the look of these hooks, and I like that they sit flush with the wall. They are perfect for hanging tapestry rods, when I want the tapestry to hang close to the wall. Curtain rod mounts allow for a space between the wall and the fabric.

These are beautiful hand made hooks. I am combining them with some larger hooks for bath towels and wash cloths in my newly redecorated bathroom.

Haven't installed them yet but they are really nice looking quality hooks. I really like the look of them; they're better than I expected. Will probably purchase more for other areas around the house.
