These are pretty nice and didn't break even though I put a lot of stress on them. It would be better if these had the angle ends. getting to the torx bolt on my BMW was not easy with this tool because its flat and the bolt was in a spot that needed that angle i was force to use another tool along with this tool to break the bolt loose once loose I was able to use my fingers to loosen the rest of the bolt. All in all good tools and fer-sure can take a beating.

BMW requires these to replace the starter- which they conveniently hide behind the engine block where it is nearly inaccessible. Got the job done with this set!

Most of these e-torx sets have only 4 wrenches, so these are good with 5, but the problem with this set is the rotational offset angles. The larger ones are offset properly so that in tight spaces you can flip them over and use a smaller turning angle. However, the smaller wrenches have almost no angular offset and need more room to be used than other e-torx wrenches I have.<br /><br />I would buy these to get a larger set of sizes, but you still need other brands or ratcheting wrenches for tight spots.

Unless you want to spend a hundred bucks on 1 snap-on star/torx wrench, this set is what you need especially when working on European cars. Well made and was PERFECT to break loose stubborn bolts (BMW brakes) that my star/torx socket wrench couldn't remove because the socket, being at an angle, would slip off the bolt head whenever you try to break it loose. But these wrenches are perfect! They sit flush against the bolt heads and provide perfect leverage without worry about stripping the star/torx head. Well worth the investment.

Ok, bought these to work on my BMW. If you are a Bimmer do it yourselfer then these are a must have. Used them to replace a starter on a 325 and couldn't be any happier with this set. The advantage of these over the Gearwrench ETORX is that sometimes with these external TORX bolts, you don't have enough clearance around the head to use the wider Gearwrench mechanism. These are very well built and the shaft of the wrench is beefy enough that it doesn't dig into your hand too badly. For the money, best deal in ETORX.

VIM Tools makes tools for tool trucks like Mac and SnapOn. The qulaity of their tools is pretty amazing considering the price. It just goes to show how much tool trucks jack the prices up.<br /><br />These wrenches are beautiful and functional. The holder it comes with is OK, nothing amazing, but effective. The feel of thw wrenches in your hand is simialr to that of MAC or Snap On. The price is unbeatable. They fit bolts as well as any comparable more expensive tool.<br /><br />I don't use these very often, but any time I get a German car in the shop, I'm glad I have them. Well worth the money for the aggravation saved, when you have one of these handy.
