Mission: Viva Rescue is an animal sanctuary located in Southern California that works to create a more compassionate world through permanent, innovative sanctuary care for animals in need while also creating sustainable solutions to animal related issues locally and ideally globally.

Target demographics: provide high quality medical care to former farmed animals and equines and give them a permanent home where they are safe, loved and care for as individuals

Direct beneficiaries per year: dozens of animals in desperate need of medical care and permanent refuge

Geographic areas served: Innovative equine and farmed animal rescue, rehabilitation and permanent sanctuary

Programs: Equine sanctuary care, senior horse sanctuary, cleft palate ruminant program, neonatal nursery for farmed animals, permanent Sanctuary care, assistance to our community, disaster response and rescue.
