Mission: Vivoblu Water for All is a US 501 (c)(3) faith-based nonprofit that exists to share the love of Jesus Christ through clean water for all. WFA partners with water filter manufacturer, Vivoblu, to equip and empower Christian mission organizations with life-changing clean water solutions specifically designed for the developing world. Water for All uses donated funds to bridge the gap between manufacturers and ministries, guaranteeing 100% of donated funds are used to provide clean water solutions at no cost to organizations that meet WFA’s program requirements. Water for All provides practical, sustainable, and safe water solutions to some of the nearly 2 billion people around the world who lack clean water in the poorest regions of the world’s developing countries, as well as disaster relief to hard hit communities after a Hurricane or disaster.

Results: Over the last six years, the team has deployed more than 5,000 filters across nine countries (Mexico, Haiti, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Cambodia, Peru, India, and the Philippines) to help families in the developing world get safe, clean water. Last month, Convoy of Hope asked if Water for All could deploy disaster relief water filters into one of the hardest hit areas after Hurricane Ida roared through in Louisiana —the town of Galliano in Lafourche Parish, 70 miles south of New Orleans in the Bayou--to provide Vivoblu water filtration systems to those still without clean water. Water for All was honored to receive the call, and immediately deployed a team with enough Vivoblu CORE Family 0.1 micron filter systems to provide clean, safe water for more than 2,000 people in the community. Water for All also partnered with Lowes, which generously provided buckets from its Lafayette store for Vivoblu’s two-bucket filter system, and then team is looking forward to serving these communities with more systems in the future.

Target demographics: all people get access to clean, safe water through the distribution of clean water filter systems to families, communities, schools, hospitals, governments and medical clinics.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 25,000 people in the last 12 months

Geographic areas served: the developing world as well as providing clean water in disaster relief situations

Programs: Founded in 2020, Vivoblu Water for All is an strong humanitarian organization fighting to get clean water to everyone everywhere. DEVELOPING WORLD: Working side by side with poor people in 9 countries so far, Water for All helps empower communities to address one of the greatest threats to their survival. Having clean, safe water in households improves the situation of poor women and children. Women and girls are responsible for fetching and boiling water and gathering wood for fuel. When boiling water, they are exposed to harmful smoke and, when gathering wood in isolated areas, they face increased risk of snake bite, robbery, and sexual violence. Our clean water program eliminate the need for this unnecessary work, as well as lowering the risk of waterborne disease—which is highest in children under the age of five. As the traditional managers of day-to-day family expenses, women also benefit directly from reduced expenditures on medical treatment, charcoal, and wood. It would be great to live in a world where everyone has access to clean water… where mothers can provide safe, clean water to their children… where sickness doesn’t rob those children of their education and childhood. Can you envision a world where money doesn’t have to be spent purchasing medication for preventable diseases, but is, instead, spent feeding their children. Imagine a world where parents can feel healthy enough to work and earn a living so they can help change their world for the better. DISASTER RELIEF: Vivoblu Water for All also provides water filtration to deliver clean water in disaster relief situations. The United States faces some of the world’s most extreme weather, and natural disasters result in loss of life and damage to property and essential infrastructure in almost every corner of the country. Humans can survive about a month without food; average survival time drops significantly when it comes to our essential need for water. According to Scientific American, less than a week without water can be fatal. The ability to distribute clean water during a natural disaster is crucial, and this ability depends on having reliable water purification systems ready to go and in place ahead of time. Vivoblu Water for All’s clean water program deploys cost-effective membrane filters worldwide to provide needy families with clean water. A major advantage of our VIVIOBLU membrane filtration is that it is versatile. This water treatment can be produced and adapted to filter out almost any substance ranging from pathogens, bacteria, arsenic, and other harmful chemical pollutants. It also requires no chemicals, little maintenance, and has a long lifespan.
