For the money, there's no way to go wrong. To find such a solid little house phone you can go pay 20$ at least somewhere else. But it won't be as solid as this little bugger

Not very loud ring and can't really hear the other person on the other side of the phone and it won't hang up unless the other person hangs up first

This was exactly what was needed for an older gentleman I take care of. He said he can hear it ring and can hear the person talking very well on it. He is very pleased that don't need electric, that way if power out he still has a usable phone.

I'm downsizing and moving into a senior apartment community. I haven't lived in an apartment for nearly 40 years. It turns out that I needed a landline to buzz guests in.I chose this phone based on price because it is just for one purpose.When the phone rings it is so faint that for a minute I wonder what is that annoying noise...?The phone is so lightweight that when pick up the receiver the whole phone tumbles over. Everytime.The sound quality is very poor. I have to stand very very still in order to make out what the visitor is saying.I am not hard of hearing I have the volume turned up to the max.I kept it because it was so inexpensive and it at least does what I intended it for which is not for making or receiving calls...

I just needed an analog phone for cheep to activate the li ksys ATA's web configuration portal. This did the job perfectly.It is however cheap. It doesn't feel like it will fall apart or anything, don't get me wrong. But, the phone cord isn't even removable...
