Buttons are easy to use. Sound is good. However, the display screen is very, very difficult to read. The text is small, the contrast is very bad. My mother in-law cannot see it at all. Also, it is a challenge to find the list of missed calls. It is far down on the menu and not easy to navigate to, it should be the first item.

This phone was purchased for Senior. After you install it, I recommend you disable the call blocking feature. It's just to easy for the senior to enable. The volume control is on the side of the handset which a senior will need to practice using. Finally, the Amplify button is not one the Senior would think they need -- but they will eventually get use to using it since they may not always be using their hearing aid.

Arrived in good condition. It was one of the few I found that had Memory buttons on the handset. I'm going to set it up for my blind neighbor and he wouldn't be able to scroll through the menu. The pairing of the extensions was a little hard but they finally took.

Thank goodness for Betty Hernandez, who explained in her review how to register a SN5107 handset to the SN5127 phone. Follow the directions in the set-up guide, but after pressing you have to press the down arrow. I wasted an hour trying different things. The user manual and set-up guide for the phone also omit that crucial detail.So far the handset itself is working fine for my very hard-of-hearing 92-year-old mother, and she likes having all 4 of her children on speed dial. She has cognitive impairment (not dementia) and there is no way she could have set up the phone herself, but I expected that. At age 68 it took me about 4 hours. A 15-year-old might have done it in 40 minutes, but entering names for the speed dial numbers requires a knowledge of old-style texting (press once for A, twice for B, etc.), so hah.

Like the 4 frequent number quick dial buttons. Like the volume control. Easy to read display. Getting to phone book numbers is a little cumbersome.

Tired of hearing your parents say Speak up, I can't hear you? Well this VTech amplified phone system may be for you. I did a lot of research before deciding on this system and we are very happy. This is the extra handset that connects with the corded VTech Amplified phone. 1 - Large Font with names and numbers on the screen. 2 - Large Buttons 3- Very good sound.Note = I recommend you spend the extra minutes entering in key phone numbers into the handset. That way, the name is CALLED OUT when they call and the person can see and hear who is calling.Also, this has the ability to block unwanted Robo calls or other calls. GREAT!!

I Bought the phone for my mom and dad because my father had trouble seeing and sometimes gets a little confused on operating things, but the phone is simple to use and the buttons are nice and big and not complicated, the only problem is finding small photos for the assigned buttons, other than that the phone is great

After I figured out holding the page for 5 seconds you are supposed to hit the and doen arrow to see the message it was pairing. Once I got through that its easy now my mom has one right by her chair and one at her table. She's elderly and when the phone is charging she can just use the one by her.

My mother has been blocking our calls because the block call button is in the upper left corner on corded phone, which is right where the green ‘accept ‘call button is on the cordless hand set. Once she blocked my number, we can not unblock it without being on site.Also have not figured out how to make the speaker be always on when a call comes in.

Found this phone for my 89 yo mother initially because of the picture presets since she has trouble remembering how to get into the phonebook on her phone but when I saw the call block features, I was sold. I had tried everything to stop the 15 sales calls per day. It works perfect! Stopped her phone ringing all day and made it easy for her to manage her calls. Major stress reliever!!!
