This tank is a bit smaller than anticipated but unique in its shape and units for different hotel experiences for the little triop fellows. My 10yo son loves taking care of the little guys and takes his responsibility very seriously. Definitely a for someone that wants pets but low maintainance.

Good for kids but need to be patient and follow directions. A good heating lamp is a must to keep water warm. The triops lasted about a month from hatching.

First of all, I didn't get eggs but sticks. Don't think the look a like because they were literally a centimeter thick sticks. Yeah... My nine year old son was very disappointed because I told him that when I was a child I had triops and the grew. DON'T BUY!!!

I ended up only using the triops eggs. The triops city is literally just a big, plastic, ugly, mass. Now that my triop (only have one because I used a fraction of the eggs packet, intentionally) she's not full grown yet and there is no way multiple triops can comfortably live in here full grown. I have mine in a Tupperware right now and it's more aesthetically pleasing that what came in the box. The triops are SO COOL THOUGH. I suggest finding somewhere that just sells the eggs. They are super easy to care for and so fun to observe!
