Mission: Provide funding to accelerate a cure for narcolepsy;Increase awareness of narcolepsy;Decrease time-lapse from symptom onset to proper diagnosis; andProvide supportive resources for people with narcolepsy and their loved ones.
Results: During 2014: Funded over $100,000 in research; Exhibit or present at 12 different health/medical conferences; conduct four awareness/fundraising events in Chicago, New York, Boston and Nashville. Update website with new patient resources and produce 6 minute educational video for broadcast on national public television stations.
