The stories paint a clear picture of life with Usher's sharing personal experiences with tremendous emotion and humor. It is hard for people on the 34;outside34; to truly understand what day-to-day life is like for people living with Usher's and this book helps the reader see more clearly what their lives are like on that daily basis. An amazing and powerful collection of true life showing those who have not experienced usher syndrome first hand how challenging life with usher can be. However, this book provides an incredible insight of the strength these people have day in and day out. I very highlh recomend this book and hope that it can show the rest of the world how much more research really needs to be done to come up with a cure for usher syndrome.

Yes, I am one of the authors of this special book so writing a review seems kind of weird! However, until I got my own copy of the book, I had not read any of the other 26 stories so I really had no idea how the book was going to be in its entirety. Now that I'm reading it, I am so honored to be a part of this! As a person with Usher syndrome, I have my own experiences and sometimes it seems like I'm all alone in this process. This book confirms just how 34;not alone34; I really am! Each story is different while also teaching us about resilience in the face of adversity. For anyone with Usher syndrome, for anyone who loves or lives or works with someone with Usher syndrome, this book is for you! For anyone who just wants to be inspired, this book is for you! Thank you for the honor of being one of the contributors!
