Bought these for my husband's walker, because it was hard for him to navigate it over the edges of oriental rugs. They eliminate problems with slight bumps in the floor (under about 1/234;), and mean that he doesn't have to struggle to lift his walker.

Much more convenient than putting tennis balls on the walker. When you are walking on cement, however, if you press too hard on the handles, there is a horrible grating sound. You just have to not press (or lean) too hard.

I got these for my mom's walker. She has the type of walker with wheels in the front. We have hard wood floors and carpet in various room. Tile in the kitchen. I was advised by the home nurse not to use these, but I got them anyway. The nurse said they will make the walker slide. I'm thinking, that's what I want. As it turns out, they work as expected - even outside on asphalt. They are a little hard to snap in, but once in they are there to stay. They make it easier to slide onto and off the carpet areas, as well as other small bumps in the road to recovery. They remind me of Santa's sleigh and work just as well.All in all, they are well make and lasted a long time. Will buy again if needed.
