This is for a storage room with food and seasonal items and so on. This room also has my HVAC unit in it. I have no idea if it is energy efficient. It is not noticeable loud. It fills the 1.6 gallon bucket in less than 12 hours. I change it twice a day and it’s completely filled.

We put this in our basement and the smell is gone them humidity level is low this machine works great as well as being very quiet. I highly recommend it!

The only downfall to this product is the weight, especially for the elderly or disabled. We have 17 steps to the basement. We are elderly so heavy things are more difficult to maneuver. My husband got it down there, plugged it in and it has worked well since. Pulls a lot of moisture. The basement is a nice place to be now. We have only had it for a few days, so if there are any issues, I will update this review. For now, I would highly recommend this product and seller.

I needed this for my basement. Easy to install and start. Working well!! I installed the garden hose and it's draining. Probably the same noise level as the one I replaced it with. Happy so far!

This is used in the lower level of my house and it has made a tremendous difference. The carpet seems so much less moist. It’s really incredible how much water it collects and how fast. It’s impressive.

This dehumidifier is a quality product. Easy to set up, especially with the drainage connection (you will need drainage hose) and immediate operation once plugged in. Fairly quiet and effective results in humid conditions such as basements.

Huge difference in one night. I forgot what dry felt like until this morning. Runs warm and will really heat up a room, but in the winter, which is when I was having extreme moisture issues, is when I have the heat on anyway so it's a wash.

I bought a dehumidifier last may and it stopped working (pulling water) a month ago. It had only a 1 year warranty. Needless to say I will not go back to that brand. My basement seemed humid and decided to get another dehumidifier. Read the reviews for this particular model and it seemed like the best choice for what I needed. Started this model and the bucket filled in 2 hours. It filled up 4 times in 10 hours, and it’s a nice size bucket. I will go to the hose option once I install the wall outlet. This unit is amazing and highly recommend. I just hope it lasts over a year.
